What is a pub quiz?
A pub quiz is a trivia game for teams, played in a pub or bar. You and your friends form a team, and a quizmaster reads out questions over several rounds, on topics like general knowledge, music, sport and pop culture.
Each team writes its answers on one sheet, the answers are marked, and the team with the most points wins. You don't need to be an expert: it's about teamwork, a few drinks and a good evening out.

A quiz night built by quiz lovers
We're a small team from Zürich who love a good trivia night. PubQuiz Zuerich is all about a relaxed evening where everyone can join, whether you're a trivia fanatic or just there for the fun.
Every event is hosted in a local venue, with fresh questions written by us each time.

Terms, conduct and privacy
Terms and refunds
- Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), VAT is not charged.
- A full ticket costs CHF 10 per person. A seat reservation costs CHF 5 per person, and the rest is paid at the door.
- Payment is made online through Stripe. You receive a receipt by email after paying.
- Refunds: to cancel, send an email to at least 24 hours before the event starts, with your name and team name. We then refund your payment in full to the original payment method.
- No refunds are given for requests made less than 24 hours before the event, or for no-shows.
- If we cancel or move an event, you receive a full refund or can keep your ticket for the new date.
- Each person needs their own ticket. Teams have up to 5 players.
- By booking a ticket or reserving a seat, you accept these terms, the code of conduct and the photo and video notice.
- Swiss law applies.
Code of conduct and photos
- Be kind and respectful to other teams, the quizmaster and the venue staff. Harassment, discrimination and aggressive behavior are not tolerated, and we may ask guests to leave without a refund.
- No phones or other devices to look up answers during the rounds. Teams caught cheating can be disqualified.
- Please drink responsibly. The venue's house rules apply.
- Photos and videos: we may take photos and videos during the event and use them on our website and social media, such as Instagram. By booking a ticket or reserving a seat, you agree to this. If you do not want to appear, tell us at the event or email , and we will leave you out or remove the picture.
Privacy
When you register, Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, team name and payment details. We see your name, email, phone number and team name, and use them only to run the event, confirm your booking and contact you about it. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never visible to us.
We do not sell your data and do not share it, apart from with Stripe as our payment provider. To ask what we store about you, or to have it deleted, write to .
